1. Who we are
Kodingo ("we", "us", "our") operates the developer intelligence platform at kodingo.xyz, powered by Kortex. Our contact email is [email protected].
2. What data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data — your name, email address, and hashed password when you register.
- Project data — project names, API tokens, and code memory records (decisions, notes, context) captured by Kortex.
- Usage data — counts of API calls, memory captures, and inference requests for billing and rate limiting purposes.
- Analytics data — page views, feature interactions, and session data collected via PostHog, only if you have given consent.
- Payment data — billing details processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers directly.
3. Why we collect it
- To provide the Kodingo and Kortex service.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, weekly digest) via Resend.
- To process payments via Stripe.
- To monitor platform health and errors via Sentry.
- To understand how the product is used and improve it, via PostHog (consent required).
4. Third-party services
We share data with the following third-party processors:
- Render — cloud infrastructure hosting our API and PostgreSQL database.
- Vercel — hosting for the kodingo.xyz web application.
- Resend — transactional and digest email delivery.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Sentry — error monitoring (no personal data in error payloads).
- PostHog — product analytics (only loaded with your consent).
- Hugging Face — AI inference for Kortex intelligence features.
5. Data retention
Account and project data is retained for the lifetime of your account. Usage events are retained for 90 days. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object — opt out of analytics at any time via the cookie consent settings.

7. Cookies
